I was always into fitness, going to the gym and attending classes, but running wasn't on the agenda. In 2011 a friend asked me to come along to Jog Scotland to keep her company. "I'm not a runner" I said! From that day on, running became my main focus of fitness. I loved to see the miles increasing, but most of all I loved to run with a group of people who encouraged and supported me. Within 11 months I had completed my first Half Marathon. My daughter came along recently for the first time and has been introduced to our running family.
