Sharon Ferns

I became a jog leader to give something back and help others believe in what they can achieve—just as I was encouraged when I started my own running journey with jogscotland as a beginner in 2018. Running has shown me that progress is built through support, consistency, and enjoying the journey together. From my first 10k to completing multiple Manchester Marathons, every milestone was made possible through encouragement from others, and that's the environment I aim to create on every run. I qualified as a jog leader in September 2025 and love leading friendly, supportive runs where no one is left behind, confidence grows, and personal goals feel achievable—whatever they may be.
