RUN BUDDIES

Every runner starts off as a beginner.

During selected races, Jog Leaders and/or other club members may offer to run alongside you to encourage you to race a distance for the first time, of perhaps push you on to achieve a PB.

Further details can be found via our Facebook members group or by contacting one of the Jog Leaders (red club tops).

TRACK SESSIONS

2018 saw us introduce coach led track sessions at Greenfaulds High School. The track session was delivered to members of ALL ability groups and was very well received. Training with others not only makes tough sessions more enjoyable, the positive peer pressure can push you to hit splits that would be difficult to do solo.

Further details can be found via our Facebook members group or by contacting one of the Jog Leaders (red club tops).

PARK RUN TOUR

Lots of our member regularly take part in Park Runs. This year we are trialling getting members together to car pool and head off on tour. Great opportunity to run with company, get to know fellow club members better, help the environment by carpooling and try out some new routes.

Further details can be found via our Facebook members group or by contacting one of the Jog Leaders (red club tops).

Date and venues will be added to the website calendar.

SOCIAL EVENTS

Why not get fit and make friends at the same time?

We are a group who aim to strike the right balance between exercise and social activities. We meet regularly as a social group, whether it be after race picnics, Millport family day out or our Annual Christmas night out.

Some of the runners also meet up with their families at running events such as the Lenzie Jog or Great Scottish Run Super Saturday.
